This is the year that Bob went to Hawaii. He is glowing in this picture, because he had just met Don Ho at Don's restaurant.

Bob was a true lover of the outdoors. He often took his boat to the Salton Sea, Lake Isabella, and other lakes. This picture was taken in 1962 at Newport Beach, California.

There was a black crow who would routinely visit Bob's backyard in 1962. He was very tame and would allow Bob to scratch his neck or wear a camera cover as a little silver cap. Even the animals knew they could trust Bob to be kind to them.

This is Bob on a visit to Oregon in 1993, ready with his camera to be a typical tourist.
