Condolences
Bill, we enjoyed your attention to the Illinois Champion contingent- definitely a small offshoot of the WI & OH clans. Holiday phone calls & we could pick right up from the last one. You found a sweetheart in Colleen- a gift given to the Champion men... women who can make them better. You will be missed.
You were both the first friends we met when we moved to California. Will miss your cooking Bill.
Bill was a special kinda guy. Lots of memories I had not thought of for a very long time, and I am glad he was in for my life for the short time that he was. My heart goes out to your whole family. When we love deeply the pain is even harder to endure. God Bless

Colleen,
I am so sorry for your loss. My prayers have been with you since I heard. The memories about Bill say that he would give anyone the shirt off his back. Well, that truly reminds me of you. It is no surprise that you fell in love with someone who had one of your best qualities.

With His Love,
To all my family and friends, we are going to miss this Brother Bill of ours. I will always remember Billy with a big smile and joking heart, regardless of his circumstances he always was up and happy. Billy would give you the coat off his back, feed you, make you happy and make you feel welcomed. He is gone, but never forgotten. RIP Brother!
I offer my condolences to Colleen, DJ, Bobbi, and the entire Champion family. "Uncle Bill" was one of a kind and there definitely will not be another one like him!
We are all so saddened Bill. You were just so happy the night before that you were finally able to eat a sandwich after you got your top dentures! I told you that by Tuesday you would be eating steak, since you would be getting your bottom dentures that day! That day never happened, we all have heavy hearts and we didn't get to say goodbye, or say Thank you for always having the biggest heart & giving to others, even when sometimes I would say, no....that's for us! Lol but you would give it anyway & I was ok with it.
You were the smartest man I have ever met in my life & could fix ANYTHING! I wish the boys could have learned some of your trades. I think Bobby has your skills & if he sets his mind on it, he will do it! I am a believer that DJ will make his dreams come true, you might want to pull a few strings up there to make it happen sooner!
Colleen, Billy Jr, DJ & Bobby,
We all have been thinking of you with love. Just as our brother Bill did, we know how much he loved his family. We ask the Good Lord to give you his love to support one another at this most difficult time. I love this picture of Bill, that grin. He's saying I'll see ya on the flip flop. Love to you all, Lori
