Condolences
I was very sorry to hear of your sudden loss. I will keep your family in my prayers. Chev. Robert Sandy
Ralph always set the standard for class be it on the course or at a Scottish Event. Anyone who met him would know this. He always took the time to say hello and didn't pass up an opportunity to make you feel a part of whatever was happening. Thanks for sharing your life with all of us.
I still remember the excitement and joy in the two of your eyes that day in Balgonie Castle. You two were like high school kids on a date smiling ear to ear, so exciting! It was such a pleasure to be there for your vows and to take those photos. Ralph kept on me to get copies of the photos even though the smaller version was on facebook.. I gave them to him at The Scotsman's Ball this year.. Ralph always was smiling and was such a caring and friendly person. You will be missed for sure! When we meet again I will bring my camera and hand you a copy right away! Alicia, we love you! You two make the best couple of the Ball... and so it seemed for all at The Scotsman's Ball when you both each won Best Dressed! My prayers go out to Alicia and family at this time. God Bless you all!
With Love Mary and Tim Tyler
Say Alice, it's always followed by Ralph. Say Ralph, it's always followed by Alice. The two were always together in my mind, and it will be difficult to separate them now. However, the privilege of knowing Ralph has given me memories that I will enjoy forever. Alice, when the grief subsides, cherish all the wonderful memories you have, and share them with friends often.
I remember when I was a little girl and my Uncle Ralph would sit in the rocking chair at my grandma's house watching TV and I would stand behind the chair with a comb in my hand running it through his thick black hair while asking him questions. Questions about anything. It didn't matter what because my Uncle Ralph always had the answer to everything. I listened to him very intensely, feeling great admiration, respect, and delight in my heart. I knew that his knowledge would somehow serve a purpose in my life. I would say to myself, "I want to marry a man just like my Uncle Ralph because he is the smartest, most handsome man in the whole world." I felt that way about him my whole life and I am happy to say that I was able to express just that to him on our last visit. My Uncle Ralph, myself, and my three grown daughters where all sitting at the table of my neice's wedding reception and I said, "Girls, this is my Uncle Ralph...the smartest, most handsome man in the whole world." We all smiled, especially Uncle Ralph. I'm so happy I have that moment to reflect upon. My Uncle Ralph Moore was a distinguished, dignified, respected, noble man; he became a connoisseur of life and the things he did. He was charming, entertaining, gracious, amusing, intelligent, quick-witted and a very special, honorable man to everyone that knew him. It is with such sorrow to see him go but we will always celebrate his life and his greatness in our memories. To Alice, Jone, Craig and all of our family members and his friends, I extend my most heartfelt sympathy. For having lost the one and only world's best uncle I ever had is an ineffable experience.
From "Epitaph" by Robert Louis Stevenson: Under the wide and starry sky, Dig the grave and let me lie. Glad did I live and gladly die, And I laid me down with a will. This be the verse you grave for me: Here he lies where he longed to be; Home is the sailor, home from sea, And the hunter home from the hill. Ralph was a man of character and compassion. Surely we will miss his insight and wisdom, his grace and humor and his steadfast example. But his essence will abide with us as we toil with the loss. Yet Ralph is not lost; he has gone on to his reward and waits for us there, each in our own good time. Take heart and have courage, as he would, and know that this season of grief will pass and time will heal all wounds.
I am so sorry for your loss we will all who know him well very much miss him..
I'm sorry to hear about Ralph's passing, but I am celebrating his life with all of you! He was a very kind man, and my thoughts and prayers are with everyone in the family. All my love, Lacey
Whatever do we do without the Patriarch? The man, the myth, the legend! My last 'very real' memory of you was at my wedding just five years ago. My sisters and I were sharing the dance floor with you, while you happily moved to the grove. Fortunately, Alice or Linda had a camera and snapped that moment on photograph. One of my favorite pictures of the day! But I am the fortunate one. Uncle Ralph's face lit up with huge smile while "cutting a rug" with me and my sisters is burned in my memory forever. You graciously shared my day with me and I am here to share yours with you. They say this is the last time I will see you...I think not. You are in my heart and mind with just a thought and one of the most beautiful memories I have of you, I get to keep...forever! I will see you again. Say Hi to my brother. All my love and prayers, God's Speed! Your niece...Elena
Dear Grandad, Words alone cannot describe how much you will be missed! He may have been needing you, but I certainly was not prepared for you to leave us so soon. Family gatherings won't be the same without hearing a story of yours, or some words of wisdom that you have for one of us. However, I will take comfort in knowing that you are in a magnificent place looking down on me. You may be gone in body, but your spirit will live on forever in all of us! You will always be "The Most Interesting Man Alive". xoxo Love Always, Sheila
Ralph was a wonderful man and he always looked great in his Kilt! Our thoughts and prayers are with you during this difficult time.
Ralph was a loyal and dear friend and co-worker. We will miss him very much, and send our dearest condolences to the family.
My Family and I are sorry for your loss. We had only recently met y'all, on-line, and you both were and have been kind. May God rest his Soul. God bless.
God put His arms around him And whispered "Come with me". Although we loved him dearly, we could not make him stay. A golden heart stopped beating He is now at peaceful rest. God broke our hearts to prove to us, He only takes the best. Love you Dad!
We are so very saddened by the news of Ralphs passing and wish to send our Love and Blessings to Alicia and Family, along with our Masonic Family. Very fond memories that will surely last our life times of Ralph and his Compassion and Love, Ralphs Love of his Family and Wife Alicia. You will be missed our Brother, we will meet again.
May God Grant us peace and joy knowing that you our with our Heavenly Father.
