Obituary of Carol Knowles

Age 69, passed away December 19, 2010 in her Cherry Valley home, peacefully with family by her side. Carol was born in Denver, CO, to her parents Marvin and Helen Leeper on November 14, 1941. She was a former resident of Indiana for 24 years and lived in Cherry Valley for 20 years. Carol was a homemaker, and a loving wife and mother. She was Baptized Catholic, however, not affiliated to a particular Church. She was married to her husband, Roy, for 41 years before his passing in June of 2001. We will miss you, our loving mother, grandmother, sister and friend. Carol is survived by her son, Roy E. Knowles of Cherry Valley, CA; daughters, Jennifer Knowles of Cherry Valley, CA, Cindy Stump of Moreno Valley, CA, Terry Finch of Matthews, IN, Brenda (Phil) Worrick of Upland, IN; grand daughters, Katie Finch of Matthews, IN, Brittiney Stump of Moreno Valley, CA, Ashley Knowles of Cherry Valley, CA, Marissa Knowles of Cherry Valley, CA, Kyrstin Knowles of Cherry Valley, CA; grandsons, Doug (Camile) Michael of Marion, IN, Brian Michael of Matthews, IN, John (Heather) Michael of Matthew, IN, Chad (Kylie) Finch of Dunkirk, IN, Brandon Knowles of Cherry Valley, CA; great grandchildren, Brianna, Lane, Hunter, Zoe, Bryson, Jordie, Lennon, Nolyn, Alyson and many nieces and nephews, as well as, Charles (Joyce) Leeper, Nonie (Wayne) Atherly and Lorie (Steve) Myers. She was preceded in death by her parents Marvin and Helen Leeper; husband, Roy E. Knowles; daughter, Christina Knowles; brothers, Richard Leeper and Allen Leeper. Services will be held at 11:00 a.m., on Thursday, December 23, 2010 at Wiefels & Son Memorial Chapel, Banning, CA. Interment will follow at Riverside National Cemetery, Riverside, CA, at 2:00p.m. staging area #5.
