Obituary of Norman Bolia

Norman E. Bolia, age 79, a resident of Sun Lakes Country Club in Banning, passed away on March 20, 2010. Norm was born in Ellenburg, NY, on November 9, 1930. He was extremely proud of the 22 years he served his country in the Air Force and Air Force Reserves, retiring in 1970. He enjoyed a second career with the University of California for 22 years again retiring in 1992. Norm was a friendly, helpful person always joking and ready with a handshake and a smile. His family was the most important thing in his life. He loved traveling in his Lazy Dayze motor home with his wife, Dolores and friends for over 20 years and spending time with his children and grandchildren. He was a member of Beaumont Presbyterian Church which he called "home" as well. Norm is survived by his loving wife of nearly 60 years, Dolores. Also his daughters, Patricia Messer of Cheyenne, WY and Beverly Harrington of Norco, CA; his grandchildren, Cody, Nathan, Alex and Ariel and two great grandchildren, Jaykob and Warren; four sisters, three brothers and numerous nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his son, Norman Jr. in 1964. He has now entered his eternal rest to be loved and missed by all his family and friends. A memorial service will be held at Beaumont Presbyterian Church, 702 Euclid Avenue Beaumont, CA, on April 3 at 4:00 p.m. with private gravesite services pending. In lieu of flowers please make donations in memory of Norm to Beaumont Presbyterian Church, his second "Home". Arrangements entrusted to Wiefels & Son Mortuary, Banning.
