Obituary of David Martus
Age 49, resident of Banning for 11 years, formerly of Colton for 24 years, passed away 07/16/2009 at Moreno Valley Regional Medical Center. Vincent was born 08/02/1959 in Colton, Ca. He was employed at McDonnell Douglas as an Aircraft Mechanic and at Winston Tires as an Auto Mechanic. He received a certificate as a welder, Aircraft Auto Mechanic and Machine Operator. Vincent's favorite teams were Dodgers, Lakers and Rams. He played baseball for several years, handball, he would always run. He was a baseball coach for Little League and managed our family softball teams, Nite Hawks and Have-N-Fun in Banning. Vincent was a kind hearted son, brother, husband, father, nino, and grandfather. He had lots of friends, and his favorite dogs were Bear one, two, three and Bear-Bear. He stayed strong and fought his sickness for 6 years. He was determined to live and make his family happy. You'll be Missed and Loved Forever.
Vincent is survived by his mother, Vicky E. Martus of Colton, CA; his wife Maxine Toro Martus of Banning; son, Albert Jaurqui; daughters, Karen M. Martus, Jacinta A. Martus and Mercedes C. Martus; granddaughters, Kyra N. Mcquirk and Kamaria A. Mcquirk, all of Banning; brothers, Victor M. Martus of Colton, CA, Randy R. Martus of Port Washington, Jimmy P. Martus of Tomalt, WI., and Eric F. Vanaken of Port Washington; sister, Audrey M. Martus of Tomalt, WI.; son-in-law to Howard & Carol Toro; brothers-in-law, Tony, Freddy, Andy, Wayne, Norman and Barney; sisters-in-law, JoAnne, Deanna, Debbie, Audry and Clarissa Toro; uncle to 40 and great uncle to 34. Preceded in death by his father, Raymond A. Martus, and his sisters, Karen M. Martus and Rebecca Martus, all of Colton, CA.
