Obituary of Franklin Fowler

FRANKLIN FOWLER Franklin Fowler, 94, of Banning, passed away Oct. 27, 2008. He was born on May, 17, 1914 in New Lisbon, NJ. Franklin lived in Mount Holly, NJ, growing up, until entering Washington Missionary College in Silver Spring, MD, where he graduated in 1936. He entered the Seventh Day Adventist Ministry in 1936 and was then officially ordained in 1942. He met and married the love of his life Florence Fowler on January 1, 1937. The Fowler's moved to Banning in 1979, the same year he retired. Pastor Fowler was preceded in death by his loving wife, Florence who passed away August 4, 2008. He is survived by two sons, Franklin Fowler, Jr., of Banning and Kenneth Fowler of Redlands; one daughter, Marjorie Allen of La Porte, IN; five grandchildren, 11 great-grand children, and 4 step great-grand children. A Visitation will be Saturday evening from 4-8 PM at Wiefels Memorial Chapel. Funeral services will be Sunday, November 2 at the Seventh Day Adventist Church in Banning followed by a graveside service at San Gorgonio Memorial Park.
