Obituary of William Olvera
William "Willie", age 40, resident of Banning CA 25 years, passed away May 26, 2008 at Eisenhower Medical Center, Rancho Mirage, CA. Williams was born December 26, 1967 in Palm Springs, California. He graduated from Banning High School and received his certified nursing aid license. He loved and enjoyed working as a nursing aide and a caretaker for 20 years. He did volunteer work for los Angeles Fire Camp and was a member of Blessed Kateri Tekakwitha Catholic Community Church, Beaumont.
Willie is survived by his wife, Paula Demski Olvera, Banning, CA; daughter, Jaclyn Olvera, Beaumont, CA; sons, Andrew William Olvera and Aaron Jacob Olvera, both of Banning; parents, William (Dawnetta) Olvera, Sr. & Elsie (Phillip) Garcia; sister, Andrea Olvera, twin sister Teresa Olvera, Rosie Olvera and Angela Olvera, all of Beaumont, CA; other surviving siblings, Gina, Vanessa, Paul Luis, Jason, Sonny, Adrian, and Roberta Olvera; 2 grandchildren; 16 nephews, 12 nieces and many aunts, uncles, cousins and friends. He was preceded in death by his aunt, Pauline (Baba) Mendez Davila who passed away May 6, 2008 (weeks ago).
"Willie" is loved by many people. He was a loving spouse, father, grandfather, son and brother. HE was always outgoing and adventurous. You could never stay mad at him. He always had a smile on his face and would make everyone laugh. He will be missed.
Visitation 06/02/08, 5pm-7pm; 7pm Rosary; Mass on 06/03/08, 10am, all at Blessed Kateri Tekakwitha Catholic Church, 1234 Palm Avenue, Beaumont, CA, 92223. Burial to follow Mass at San Gorgonio Memorial Park with a reception at the church.
