Obituary of Joan Naef

IN MEMORY OF JOAN MERLE NAEF Joan Merle Naef died peacefully on Wednesday, February 13, 2008 in Banning, California at the age of 71. Mom was born on May 1, 1936 to Kathleen and Vincent L. Wray in Gering, Nebraska. She moved with Grandma and Grandpa to California in 1946 where she attended Downey High School. Mom married the love of her life Ronald Dean Naef on January 31, 1953 in Huntington Park, California. Mom dedicated her life to raising her children and serving God through years of service with the LDS Church and Relief Society. Mom leaves behind her loving husband of 55 years Ronald; Son, Bradley and wife Joletta; Son, David; Daughter, Debra Kay and husband Randy; Son, Steven and wife Donna; 4 grandchildren: Bradley, Brandon, Nicole, Jenna and 6 great-grandchildren. Mom's funeral service will be at held at the Banning Ward, Church Of Jesus Christ Of Latter Day Saints at 11:00 AM, Saturday, February 23, 2008. She will be forever in our hearts... your husband, children, grandchildren, family, friends, and neighbors.
