Obituary of Zelma Lewis

Zelma Mae Lewis passed away in Riverside on October 2, 2013. She goes to join the love of her life, Lloyd T. Lewis and one of her beloved granddaughters, Traci Montgomery and many other relatives. After 93 years, a brief intense illness was too much for her body and it sent her on to be with her husband. In her early years she was a medical records clerk at March Air Force Base and then once her children were grown she became a Pre-School School Teacher at First Baptist Church in Ontario for 25 years. More importantly, she was loved by many, including her daughters Linda Kaye Hanley and husband Bill and Gail Ousley, grandchildren Terri Schloepp, Derek Ousley, Kevin Ousley and many great-grandchildren. She was greatly loved and respected by her family and friends and her gentle yet firm presence will be missed. A Celebration of Her Life will be held on Sunday, October 6 at the Banning Womans Club, 175 W Hays St, Banning, CA at 2:30p.m. Graveside Service will be held at Riverside National Cemetery at a later date, please go to www.wiefelsmortuary.com for information on dates.
