Obituary of Santos Garcia

Sandy, was born Feb. 19, 1928. He went to be with Yahushua on Oct. 27, 2011. His family was at his bedside. With peace as he entered in. It was beautiful! He was 83 yrs old, full of laughter and great to be around. With good times and memories to those who knew him. A friendly man, his survived by his youngest daughter, Vera Flores; granddaughter, Tiana Briones; grandson, Andrè Flores; granddaughter, Alexus Flores and lil grandson Thunder Alverado. All who gave great care for my dad, thank you so much for taking care of gramps. He is also survived by daughter, Sandra Lara; granddaughter, Liz Lara Lee; great-granddaughters, Liana Duro Marruffo, Cheyenne Duro, Shannoa Duro, who also helped with Dad; daughter, Tia "Luch" Lucia Garcia; daughter, Patty Araijo from Montana; step-daughter, Erlinda Miranda. One son, Robert "Bobby" Garcia, his only son who has gone to be with Yahushua. He waited with open arms. Welcome Home. He was married to mama "Vicky Miranda" until they divorced. But they still remained good friends. She is also gone to be with Yahushua in 2008. Sisters are Nena Mastas and Marggie Ruiz, Frances Steiner, deceased, Rosa Pineda and Mary Lou Martinez; brothers, Richard Garcia, Ted Garcia, deceased, Mike Garcia, Joe Frank Garcia and Victor Garcia. Sandy had many grandchildren, great-grandchildren, aunties, uncles, nieces, nephews and cousins. Uncle "Sandy" was the Best. He retired in 1993 at Desert Regional Medical Center in Palm Springs. He was the landscaper. Sandy enjoyed "Dear-Hunting", boxing, landscaping, stone work, fisherman, artist, dancing and of course telling jokes. He picked up a companion, his pet dog "lil Bear" oh and loves animals. It came time to give up his rifle, jeep, all his rocks, boxing gloves, pins & pencils and landscaping tools. It was time do something better and it was the day he became a Believer. Sandy attended Eagles Haven Ministries in Soboba Indian Reservation he got down on one knee, put his hat over his chest and bowed down, and asked Yahushua to forgive him, then he danced like David danced! He knew now he has made peace with The Creator. That's all that matters. Our humor brought laughter to our hearts. We will truly miss you, but your memories stay forever. You are made whole again in His image. See you again. Bye for now Papa. We all love you. Viewing will be held on Monday, November 7, 2011 from 4-8pm. Funeral Service will be held at 10:00am, Tuesday, November 8, 2011, all to be held at Wiefels & Son Mortuary, Banning, CA, with burial at San Gorgonio Memorial Park, Banning, CA.
