Obituary of Vicki Olson

Vicki Olson (Vreeken, Trammell, Niemi) was born July 17, 1942 in Los Angeles, California. She was called to heaven January 28, 2018 surrounded by family in Kingman, Arizona. Vicki enjoyed spending time with her family, traveling, reading, gardening, off-roading in the desert, and camping with her husband and dogs. You could always find her with a Diet Coke in her hand! She was a perfect example of a strong family matriarch and left us with a legacy of the importance of family and love. She will be deeply missed by her family and everyone that knew her. Vicki is survived by her husband John; sons Eddie and Mike (Melody); daughter Julie; daughter-in-law Angie; six grandchildren Kandice Trammell, Eddie Trammell, Kacie Trammell, Caitlin Romero, Matthew Trammell, and Marcus Trammell; and seven great grandchildren, Chad Hernandez, Evan Hernandez, Aubriel Acosta, AJ Trevino, Riley Trammell, Sophia Romero, and Aria Diaz. She is also survived by her brothers Kenny (Mary) Mullen, Don (Jackie) Vreeken, David (Renee) Whitaker, and Steve Whitaker. Vicki was preceded in death by her father Louis Vreeken, mother Julia Whitaker, and granddaughter Jessica Trevino. A Celebration of Life service will be held on Saturday, February 10, 2018 at 11:00 a.m. at San Gorgonio Memorial Park at 2201 N. San Gorgonio Ave. in Banning.
