Obituary of Nancy Vici

Mrs. Nancy Adele Vaughan (Vici), of Banning, CA, passed away on Sunday, January 7, 2018 at the age of 80, at home with family by her side.

Nancy was born to parents George and Effie Pearl “Betty” Bartlett-Vaughan on November 8,1937 in The Dalles, OR. The Family came to Banning, CA in 1943. Her parents owned a Sprouse Reitz nickel and dime store for several years. Nancy loved being at her parents store during the war because that was the only store to get bubble gum in Banning.  Nancy grew up as the youngest of 5 and attended Banning High School class of 1956. In 1957, she married her high school sweetheart, Antonio Vici Jr. Nancy was a devoted full-time homemaker, seamstress and avid collector of Mattel items such as “Barbie’s” and “Beanie Babies”. The couple had three children. Nancy is survived by her Children, Kurt Vici, Mark Vici and Kim Harlow of Banning CA; four grandchildren, Isaac Vici of Colorado, Jenny Vici of Redlands, CA, Zachary Vici and Katrina Pacheco Both of Banning, CA; great-grandchildren, Marissa, Justice and Mackenzie Vici also from Colorado. She is preceded in death by her husband, Antonio Vici Jr; her siblings, Joann Vaughan (Kennedy), Delbert Vaughan, Jerome “Jerry” Vaughan, Patricia Vaughan (Cousins) and great-grandson Anthony Vici; her parents, George and Effie Pearl “Betty” Bartlett-Vaughan, as well as, many friends. She will be truly missed as a Loving Mother, Grandmother, Great-Grandmother, Aunt and Sister-in-Law. To honor Nancy’s request, she wanted a direct cremation with no service.
