Obituary of Velma L. Ellingson

Velma Loise (Lee) Ellingson (nee Brown) passed away on the early morning of January 6, 2018. She was 101 years old and had been a loving parent and inspiration to many.

She had belonged to Our Savior's Lutheran Chrch since 1959, had worked for Deutsch here in Banning for 19 years, and worked at the San Gorgonio Hospital Thrift Shop for 20 years.

She leaves begind her daughters, Ronna Ellingson Clymens and Karen Ellingson Bartlett (Roy), Marla  Ellingson Hayes (Tom), her daughter in-law Angela Nizzi Ellingson, 8 grandchildren, 19 great grandchildren and  1 great-great grandchild. She was predeceased by her husband Orville Swen Ardell Elingson, her son Gary Kent Ellingson, and her graddaughter Tarrin Rosse Clymens. 

Graveside services will be held on Tuesday, Jan. 16, 2018 at 10:00 am, at San Gorgonio Memorial Park, Banning, CA. Arrangements by Wiefels & Son Mortuary, Banning, CA.
