Obituary of Maria Garcia

Marie Elaine Garcia, age 70, passed away at home in Banning, Ca. on Dec. 12, 2017. Maria was born on August 18, 1947 in Delano, CA to Victor Garcia (Margaret) and Vera Mitchell.

She is survived by her lifetime partner John Contreras, her brothers, Anthony Toranto, Victor Garcia, Corey Garcia (Gina), Gerard Garcia, Andrew Garcia (Diana), Gary Garcia, Albert Garcia (Jennifer), her sisters, Rosalie Munoz, Mona Garcia Prelesnik, and Delilah Shields (Randy).

She is preceded in death by her parents, her brother Mike Mitchell, brother-in-law Juan Munoz and nephew Juan Jose (Jay) Munoz.

She was loved by her many nieces and nephews and great nieces and nephews and her God children.

A Celebration of Life will be on Saturday, Dec. 30, 2017 from 11am-2pm at Wiefels & Son Mortuary, Banning. No burial to follow.
