Obituary of Clifford Nathan Schoonover

Clifford Nathan Schoonover, 75, passed away at Jerry L. Pettis Memorial Veterans Hospital, Loma Linda, CA on Friday, November 17, 2017. He was born to his parents Nathan and Louise Schoonover in Montrose, Colorado on October 25, 1942. Clifford served in the United States Army as an SP5 and received the National Defense Service Metal. Clifford received a B.S. at New Mexico State University and an M.B.A at Pepperdine University. Finding a career in the Banking Industry, he worked as Vice President for First Centennial Bank of Redlands. Clifford was a member of the Redlands Elks Lodge, Builders Industry Association and Grandview Baptist Church.

Clifford is survived by his children, Nathan Schoonover and wife Christine of Santa Clarita, CA, Marc Schoonover of Palm Desert, CA, Eric Schoonover and wife Kristen of Indio, CA and Jeff Grimm of Vista, CA; granddaughters, Olivia Schoonover of Anaheim Hills, CA, Shelby Schoonover of Indio, CA, Hannah Larson of Palmdale, CA, Kayla Larson of Palmdale, CA, Cade Larson of Palmdale, CA; grandsons, Gavin Grimm of Escondido, CA, Liam Schoonover of Santa Clarita, CA, Connor Schoonover of Santa Clarita, CA. He was preceded in death by his wife Sharon Schoonover; father, Nathan Schoonover; mother, Louise Schoonover.

Graveside Services will be held at Riverside National Cemetery, 22495 Van Buren Blvd., Riverside, CA on Friday, December 8, 2017 at 1:01 p.m.
