Obituary of Varia V. Alline

Alline V. Varia was born on 11 March 1925 in Wakulla Springs, Wakulla, Florida, to the union of Daniel and Mary Loney, the oldest of two children. Alline was an active member ofThe Church of Latter-Day Saints. After raising her children she went back to school and became a nurse; worked in Palm Desert and Palm Springs, California for many years. When she retired she did alterations, and cooking in her home.

Alline married Harvey Trawick 27 April 1940 in Florida. This union was blessed with five children. Alline was an outgoing person and loved cooking and sewing and taking care of her family. She was especially fond of cooking for her grandchildren, friends and her Church functions. Years later when moving to California she met and married James Varia 21 November 1965 in California and was a devoted wife and homemaker until his death 3 May 1991.

Alline Varia departed this life on 8 November 2017.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Daniel and Mary Loney; one brother, D.F. Loney, his wife Erika Loney; first husband, Harvey Trawick and second husband, James Varia.

She leaves to cherish her memories five daughters and one son, Joyce (Phillip) Medina of Pearce, Arizona, Mary (Raul) Perez of DeLeon, Texas, Diana (Charles) Kelley of Sacramento, California, Eddie (Lynda) Trawick of Plains, Montana, Sandra (Charles) Moore of Yucaipa, California, Erika (Bill) Garrison of Henderson, Nevada; 26 grandchildren, 64 great grandchildren, and many great-great grandchildren; a host of cousins, nieces, nephews, other family members, friends and church member friends.
