Obituary of Peter Guldemond, Jr.

Peter Guldemond, Jr., 84, passed away on November 7, 2017 in Banning, CA with his loving family by his side. Peter was born on January 20, 1933 in San Diego, CA to his parents Clelia & Peter Guldemond, Sr. He graduated from High School in San Diego, CA & went on to attend Imperial Valley College in El Centro, CA. Peter served proudly in the United States Army as a Corporal in Korea. He worked as General Manager at American Linen/Quality Linen the later retiring in 1989. Peter was the founding Director of the American Bavarian Brass Band aka “Pass Gassers” in 1972; a member of the Riverside Community Band in the mid 70’s, 20/30 club, Lyons, Kiwanis and also Our Saviors Lutheran Church of Banning, CA.

Peter is survived by his loving wife, Sue Guldemond; sons, Peter (Colleen) Guldemond and Paul (Melody) Guldemond; step-sons, Leslie Conn and Robert (Angela) Conn; step-daughters, Sharon Cardona and Shelly Conn; 20 grandchildren, 32 great-grandchildren & 1 great-great grandchild. He was preceded in death by his parents Clelia & Peter Guldemond, Sr.; sister, Cora Anderson; brother-in-law, Roy Anderson & daughter, Pam Guldemond.

Burial Service will be held on Monday, November 20, 2017 at 2:00 p.m. at Riverside National Cemetery, Riverside, CA.
