Obituary of Joan Adele Jones

Our beloved Wife, Mother, Grandmother, and Great-Grandmother, Joan Adele Jones (Patterson), born 18 May 1932 in Long Branch, New Jersey passed away in her sleep on 10 September 2017, in Banning, California, after many years of Alzheimer’s Disease.

Joan was married to Clifford T. Jones for 67 years, is the Mother to:  Adele Lynn Johansen (Jones), age 66 of Las Vegas, Nevada, Dale T. Jones, age 61 of Fort Mohave, Arizona, and Brett A. Jones, age 58 of Kirkland, Washington.  Joan was preceded in her death by her brother, Dale Patterson and her granddaughter, Jaime Johansen.  Joan leaves her legacy through her numerous grandchildren and great-grandchildren who live throughout the Western United States. 

Joan was actively involved in both the Girl & Boy Scouts of America, Little League Baseball, and the local Parent Teacher Association. In her spare time, Joan was an avid golfer.

Joan was loving and kind to all she met.  She will be greatly missed by her family and friends. 

In lieu of flowers, the family would request donations be made to the Alzheimer’s Foundation or the Alzheimer’s Association, in her name.
