Obituary of Jean C. Nelson

Jean Carol Nelson was born in Chilton, Wisconsin on March 4, 1927 and passed away on April 21, 2017 in the city of Banning CA, at the age of 90. Jean graduated from Hilbert High school in Hilbert, WI and married her husband Robert E. Nelson of 60 years in Highland Park, CA. Jean resided in Lakewood CA for 7 years and Hacienda Heights, CA for 32 years during that time she had three beautiful daughters Sheri, Lori, and Robyn. Jean worked at Pacific Bell Telephone Company as a PBX switchboard operator before becoming a homemaker. She loved The Lord and was affiliations with Our Savior’s Lutheran Church. Jean is survived by her sister Marcie Euken of Banning, CA; daughters Sheri Flynn of Yorba Linda, CA., & Robyn Nelson (Browning) of Manakin Sabot, VA; five grandchildren Keegan Flynn of Irvine, CA, Kailey VonBarandy (Flynn) of Tallahassee, FL, Makenzie Flynn of Yorba Linda, CA, Megan Lee (Browning) of Cheshire, CT, and Michael Browning of Glenn Allen, VA. Jean is proceeded in death by her loving husband Robert E. Nelson of Banning, CA and daughter Lori Nelson Keogh of Santa Clarita, CA. She will truly be missed by those who loved and knew her. A Visitation will be held May 4th, 2017 from 4:00 pm – 7:00 pm at Wiefels and Son Mortuary, 50 E. Nicolet St, Banning CA.  Services will be on May 5th,2017 at Our Saviors Lutheran Church at 10:00 am, 320 W. Williams St, Banning, CA. Burial to follow at Forest Lawn, 4471 Lincoln Ave, Cypress, CA.
