Obituary of Helen Smith

Helen Ruth Smith, age 93, passed away in Banning, California on April 2, 2017. Helen was born in Glendale, Arizona and then raised in Yuma, Arizona. She moved to Los Angeles area and attended Bible College. In 1948 she moved to Banning, California and settled in until her passing. Helen was a homemaker, a nurse and machine operator. Helen graduated from Angeles Temple Evangelistic & Missionary College & obtained a nursing degree from MSJC Training. She attended New Creation Church of Banning and will be greatly missed by all. Helen is survived by her sons Bill Stoner (Tori) of Glendale, Ca., Donald Stoner (Marilyn) of Beaumont, Ca., & Richard Stoner (Monika) of Maricopa, Ca.; 7 grandchildren, 14 great grandchildren. Helen was preceded in death by her husband of 13 yeas, Willie Stoner of Banning, Ca. Viewing is being held at Wiefels & Son Mortuary, 10:00 a.m., Saturday April, 8, 2017 with Funeral at 11:00 a.m. Helen will be joined with her husband Willie Stoner in a Private Graveside at San Gorgonio Memorial Park, Banning, Ca.
