Obituary of Oswaldo Leyva Elizondo
Oswaldo Leyva Elizondo, Jr., age 50. Ozzie was born on July 10,1965 in Carlsbad, New Mexico he went home on July 7, 2016 in Chandler, Arizona. With his loved ones surrounding him. He played Pop Warner Football in 1978 and also played Baseball in 1979, while attending Banning High School.
He is survived by his daughters, Shalina Celia Elizondo (Nathan) of Banning, Ca., Marina Jazelle Elizondo-Bentiste (Joshua) of Banning, Ca.; his mother, Ramona Lara; siblings, Otilia Lara of Mesa, Az., Edward Leyva (Sheila) of Mesa, Az., Isabel Leyva of Banning, Ca., Evangelina Andrade of Mesa, Az., David Elizondo of Banning, Ca. He is preceded in death by his father, Oswaldo N. Elizondo, Sr.; his sister, Olga Byers; brother, LeRoy Lara; he has many, many family and friends.
Ozzie was a great father who loved his daughters deeply. His Mother meant the world to him. He will be greatly missed.
A Viewing will be on Thursday, July 21, 2016 at Wiefels & Son Memorial Chapel, Banning, Ca., from 5pm-8pm with a Rosary at 7pm. Funeral Mass will be on Friday, July 22, 2016 at 10:00a.m. at St. Kateri Tekakwitha Catholic Church, Banning, Ca. with burial immediately following at San Gorgonio Memorial Park, Banning, Ca.
