EDWARD DOT HUNTER ALSO KNOWN AS "BOKIE" WAS BORN 10/21/1954 IN ABILENE, TX. TO WILLIE JAMES HUNTER SR. AND DOROTHY MAE HUNTER. BOKIE WAS THE YOUNGEST OF 5 CHILDREN. EDWARD WAS RAISED IN ABILENE UNTIL THE AGE OF 16 YEARS OLD. HE MOVED TO BANNING CA. AND GRADUATED FROM BANNING HIGH SCHOOL IN 1974. AFTER GRADUATION HE MOVED TO HOUSTON, TX AND BECAME A HIGHLY SOUGHT-AFTER MACHINIST IN THE OIL RIG FIELD. EDWARD THEN RETURNED BACK TO BANNING IN 1998 AND BECAME A TRUCK DRIVER. EDWARD MET HIS EX-WIFE JULIETTE RICHARDSON IN DECEMBER 1999 AND MARRIED JANUARY 2005. HE FOUND CHRIST ON MARCH 27, 2005 AND BECAME A MEMBER OF FIRST MISSIONARY BAPTIST CHURCH.
BOKIE LOVED CHILDREN, HE WAS VERY DEDICATED TO HIS NIECES AND NEPHEWS HE NEVER MISSED A GAME TO CHEER THEM ON.
BOKIE IS PRECEDED IN DEATH BY HIS GRANDMOTHER ROBERTA FLANNIGAN, FATHER WILLIE J. HUNTER AND MOTHER DOROTHY MAE HUNTER AND NEPHEW TYRONE LOVER.
BOKIE LEAVES BEHIND TO CHERISH IN HIS MEMORY, AUNT SUSIE EDWARDS, RIVERSIDE, CA. TWO DAUGHTERS MAISHA HUNTER, BANNING, CA. KEYANA HUNTER, HOUSTON, TX AND SON VINCENT WILLIAMS-HUNTER, HEMET, CA. TWO SISTERS BARBARA REAGOR (THEATLAS), SANDRA LOVER BOTH OF BANNING, CA. TWO BROTHERS WILLIE JAMES HUNTER JR., PETTY HUNTER (TONYA) BOTH OF ABILENE, TX. NEPHEWS REGINALD, TRAVIS, TARRANT, SEDRICK, ATLAS, TARIK (DEDRA), PATRICK, DARRICK, AND KEITH. NIECES TAMARA, TANGANIK, PRECIOUS (CLARENCE) AND TANIQUA. 19- GREAT NIECES AND NEPHEWS, 2- GREAT-GREAT NIECE AND NEPHEW SPECIAL FRIEND JULIETTE RICHARDSON. HOST OF COUSINS AND FRIENDS.
