Obituary of Ralph Mediano

Ralph A. Mediano, age 69, passed away on the evening of November 3, 2015 in Loma Linda, CA. Ralph was born on October 24, 1946 in Banning, CA. Was a resident of Palm Springs for 50 years. Ralph A. Mediano served in our military; he was an Army Veteran and served in the Vietnam War. Ralph A. Mediano was preceded in death by his sister, Alice, of Palm Springs, CA; his brother, David Mediano, of Palm Springs, CA; and his brother Stephen Mediano, of San Diego, CA. He is survived by his daughter, Marcella Mediano, of Banning, CA; his granddaughters Anna Thies and Mary Thies, of Banning, CA; his grandson, Creighton Thies II, of Banning, CA; and his grandson, Joshua Thies, of Banning, CA. He also leaves behind his siblings: Tonia Martinez, of Palm Springs, CA; Alfonso Mediano, of Palm Springs, CA; Salvador Mediano, of Santa Maria, CA; Eva Gevera, of Palm Springs, CA; Ann Duran, of Indio, CA; and Josie Reyes, of San Diego, CA. A viewing has been scheduled for Friday, November 13, 2015 from 10:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. at Wiefels & Son Memorial Chapel: 50 E Nicolet St. Banning, CA. 92220. Mr. Mediano will be laid to rest at Riverside National Cemetery. Family suggests, to better honor Ralph’s life, donations be made to the Wounded Warrior Project - www.woundedwarriorproject.org, (619) 981-9642- or any other Veteran based charity in lieu of flowers.
