Nancy Fortune Heyer
Sorry to hear this. I'm a cousin who never met him. (Grandfather's first cousin) My condolences.
My prayers go out to Tammy and all of Matthew's family during this difficult time. Our family has also been affected by this terrible disease. I am so very sorry.
It is Wednesday evening at 11:20 p.m. I just opened my e-mails. I am typing this while crying over your loss. It is somehow just not right to lose a child. Words cannot express how I feel about you losing your son Matthew. I pray that God will give you extraordinary strength to sustain you. Love Mary and Robert
Words can never express the sorrow and sadness felt for the family. May they find peace and comfort in knowing I'm praying for them. God be with you in your hour of need. If I can be of ANY help, please contact me, Tammy. Madge Spears
I work with Josh in AZ and I wanted to send my thoughts to the Fletcher family. Josh is a respected hard working co worker and I would love to let him know that I am thinking about him right now.
Thank you,

We are so sorry to hear this very sad news. We have followed the updates from Rebekah on Facebook and so hoped there would be a different ending. Our thoughts are with you and your family during this difficult time. With Sympathy, Brennan, Kathy & Mailee Johnson.
I'm sorry for your loss and I know the pain of losing a loved one to the disease of addiction. I am in recovery as well but my father and brother weren't able to get the miracle of God's loving grace. Not all of us get it.
I pray for your loved one and your family to know that the Lord is with you. Take peace in knowing he no longer has to struggle with the addition. God bless you all.

Mathew I didn't know you very well, but still knew you & loved you through all the wonderful things said & memories shared about you from my brother David & your brother Billy. Even though you will be so missed here on earth by so many who loved you, I know that you are safe and peaceful now in Gods arms.
I will forever treasure the times we shared together. You will be missed Matt Fletcher!!!
I'm still in shock just as much as most of you are. This has been one of the most difficult situations in my life. I love you Matt Fletcher and I know you knew that, We all love you. I still feel as if you're going to give me a random call over the phone. And say you're coming out to visit.I wish I went with you on the beach trip you were telling me about but couldn't make it due to work and having my crazy kids who also love you.My daughter called you uncle matt and you were really good with the all my children. You will be missed and always remembered as the kind caring and fun individual we all loved. So many people reached out to me to ask about your progress when you first became ill. You're mother Tammy was awesome and I know you felt the concerne and love she showed through out your last days, as well as the rest of your family.R.I.P My very good friend, We all love you very much
Matt was a great friend to everyone who knew him... he was always smiling and could make you laugh when u didn't want to.... addiction sucks and it's a shame he lost his battle... I hope his family finds peace in him not suffering anymore... to anyone reading this that struggles with addiction remember just for today and ez does it....
My thoughts and prayers are with you st this time. There is a griefshare group on Saturday at 2pm each week at Bryant Street Baptist Church. I'm Santinas mom.8eNpF
My deepest sympathy to family and friends who knew and loved Matthew. I am deeply sorry for your loss. I pray God hold you close at this difficult time. Please feel His powerful presence. Its a devastating and ugly disease that takes young lives, and this life was far too precious and loved and young. It deeply grieves me to see yet another family pained and another amazing young life lost. God bless Matthew, and all who knew and loved him. I will keep the Fletcher/Vogel family in my prayers.
What a lovely tribute to your fine young man. And I can't think of a better remembrance to honor him than to encourage others to help someone they know who are struggling as we speak. I can think of a few that I will be praying for tonight; and reaching out to. Just the mention of that at the end of his obituary is a testament to your heart for others, even as you mourn your own. God bless you Tammy and family. Praying for you.
