Obituary of Vincent Macaluso
Vincent Macaluso, former resident of Thousand Oaks, CA for 26 years and current resident of Banning for 12years, passed away at the age of 71 on May 23, 2012 in Banning, CA. He was born on January 9, 1941 in Milwaukee, WI to his parents Russsell Rossi and Angeline Macaluso. He served in the U.S. Army from 1963-1965 as a Medical Corpsman at Fort Bragg receiving an Honorable Discharge. He was a musician, teacher, classical guitarist, performer and recording artist.
Vincent is survived by his wife of 38 years, Tamra Macaluso of Banning, CA; son David Macaluso, daughter-in-law Tina Macaluso, granddaughters Rachel and Breanna Macaluso all of Benson, NC; step-sons, Joseph Asturino of Simi Valley, CA and David Asturino of Kona, HI; grandson Nicholas Asutrino of Eugene, OR; daughter-in-law Rose Asturino of Simi Valley, CA; 6 grandchildren, 3 great-grandchildren; life-long friend, guitarist & artist, Jerry Thompson of Los Angeles, CA. He was preceded in death by his parents, Russell & Angeline Macaluso; brother, Peter Macaluso. Family suggests donations to the Parkinson's Foundation in memory of Vincent R. Macaluso.
