Remembering what a sweet little girl you were, I've only seen you once as an adult and even then you were still the cute soft spoken and talented girl I remember. Things never turned out the way I thought they would. An easy life you haven't had and that saddens me just as much as not keeping in touch with you. I'm only a part of your past and maybe not a good part but I only have fond memories of you and that will never change. When I started calling you DS I never thought for a moment that it would stick, but DS you will be missed here on this earth, more by some than others but this world assuredly has lost a beautiful girl and extremely talented artist, sister and friend. The only good thing out of this is the belief that you are standing next to our Lord in a far less complicated and beautiful place with your wings looking down on the rest of us. May your soul be at peace and may you know just how much you will be missed

Dawn you were a great and talented sister. You had a hard life at times, but you always used your art to make yourself and others happy. You always wanted to please everyone. Your heart was too big at times. I wish I were still in California. I feel like I did not do enough. I love you more than you will ever know.
