Obituary of Rudolph Lopez
Rudolph F. Lopez Jr. age 66 of Banning passed away October 16, 2014 at Banning Health Care Center.
He was born to the late Rudolph F. Lopez Sr. and Eloisa (Alice) Falcon Lopez on June 21, 1948.
He graduated from Banning High School in 1966 and attended Mount San Jacinto Jr. College.
Shortly after he enlisted in the United States Marine Corps and received an Honorable Medical Discharge.
Rudy was a Brick and Stone Mason by trade as was his father. Together they built the stone walls to the entrance of the Riverside National Cemetery where he will be laid to rest.
During his life he enjoyed fishing, how he loved the outdoors, playing golf and riding his motorcycle.
He was given the gift of a singing voice and the talent of drawing. He could look at an object or person and draw it without a flaw.
Rudy is survived by his only sister Susie Rhodes of Banning. He is also survived by his niece Amy D. Hall of Moreno Valley, nephew Ryan E. Rhodes Sr. wife Anna and family, aunts, uncles and many cousins.
Services will be held at Wiefels and Son Memorial Chapel, 50 E. Nicolet St. Banning, Tuesday November 4, 2014 at 10:00 AM
Reception following Eagels Aerie 3768 at 5200 W. Ramsey Banning
Private inurnment will be in Riverside National Cemetery at a later date.
In liev of flowers, family requests any donations be made to local Hospice programs.
