Obituary of Stanley Edward Krause
Age 87, passed away on Sept. 18, 2014 at San Gorgonio Memorial Hospital in Banning, CA. He was born on Nov. 1, 1926 in Lincoln, Nebraska to parents Fred and Mabel Krause. He had lived in Beaumont, CA for 10 years, previously in Santa Ana, CA for 40 years. He graduated from Banning, High School where he was a student body President and football star. He received his B.A. degree from Univ. of Redlands, Class of 1950. He was a U.S. Navy Veteran. He was Director of Real Property Services for the County of Orange for 25 years. He was a member of the Elks Lodge in Santa Ana, was President of “The Society of Real Estate Appraisers.” and recognized nationally as a leader and innovator in the field of Right-of-Way and Public Real Estate Services. He has been frequently described as “The most honest and trustworthy man I’ve ever known”.
Stanley is survived by his wife Barbara Krause of Beaumont, CA; sister Evangeline Williams of Poteau, OK; son Ward Krause of Redlands, CA, his wife Barbara and their children Eric and Kurt Krause; son Clay Krause of Irvine, CA, his wife Pamela and their children Kevin and Laura Krause; daughter-in-law Diana Krause of Irvine, CA and her son Loren Krause; extended family members include Mary Lewis, Linda Browning, Cynthia Morris and Paul Lewis; and 5 grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his parents Fred and Mabel Krause; brother who died during WWII, Floyd Krause; 1st wife of 57 years, Wilma Krause who died in 2002; and son Kim Krause who died in 1999.
