Obituary of Sophia Arcara

Sophia Sokolnick Arcara of Banning passed away at her home on Friday July 6, 2007. She has been in Banning for 32 years. Born May 23, 1913 in Cicero, IL she was 94 years old. Sophia was a member of the Banning Senior Center, She loved all animals she had a soft spot for each and everyone, she liked to sing, draw, read and shop her favorite place to go was the Dollar store. Sophie was also a good cook. She survives by her 2 daughter's Joann and Alice, 1 son Richard, 17 Grandchildren, 6 Great-Grandchildren and 5 Great-Great-Grandchildren. Preceded Sophie in death was her husband Tony, her parents Jan & Antonia Sokolnik, 3 children Marianne "Pearl", Leroy and Leona, 4 Brother's Peter, Mike, Steve and Tony. A service will be 1:00 pm Thursday July 12, 2007 at Wiefels and Son Memorial Chapel with burial to follow at San Gorgonio Memorial Park both in Banning
