Obituary of Stella Leuthold

Stella Behm (TODDY) Leuthold passed away peacefully Friday June 29, 2007 after along illness. Survived by her loving husband Vernon of Banning, CA, Daughter Pamela and son-in-law Chris Passalaqua of Studio City, CA. She was born in Pine River, WI on February 20, 1919 and grew up in Waupaca WI. A residence of Sun Lakes Country Club for 18 years previously having resided in Upland, CA, Redondo Beach, CA.,Denver, CO., Bangor, ME., Oshkosh, WI., Rantoul, IL., Gulf Port, MS., Sebring, FL., and Okinawa. She and Vern were married in Huston, TX September 11, 1942. A lifelong educator she taught Elementary School until her retirement. She graduated from the University of Wisconsin Oshkosh and continued her education at the University of Maine, University of Maryland and University of California. She loved Golf, Cooking, Entertaining, Travel, Her family, her many Friend's , and her students, She was a member of the Republican Women's Club in Upland and Banning and the University of Wisconsin Oshkosh Alumni Association. It was a wonderful life well lived. A Memorial service will be Saturday July 7, 2007 at 11:00 am at Our Savior's Lutheran Church, 1320 W. Williams Street, Banning, CA 92220.Private inurnment at Riverside National Cemetery. The family requests memorials are sent to Our Savior's Lutheran Church, The Alzheimer's Association of America or The Alzheimer's Foundation of America, and National Hospice and Palliative Care Organization
