Obituary of Karen Horsman

Age 50, resident of Banning, CA passed away on June 30, 2011. Karen was born October 11, 1960 in Banning, CA, daughter of Patrick and Ranura Dubray. She attended UCR and also a trade school for fashion design. Karen loved her family, relatives and friends. She loved taking care of her nieces and nephews, and enjoyed taking care of little children. She had a great sense of humor, good heart and would help a lot of people. Karen is survived by her husband, Thomas LaFaille-Ortega of Banning, CA; son, Chad Poncho, his wife Jessica Poncho and their 3 sons; daughters, Sabrina and Heather Poncho of Banning, CA; step-children, Erin and Loren Ortega of Banning, CA; mother and father, Ranura and Patrick Dubray of Morongo Reservation; brother, Steven Horsman, Sr. of Beaumont; sister, Julie Horsman of Banning; uncle and aunt, Ernest & June Siva of Banning; father-in-law, Raymond Ortega, Jr.; sisters-in-law, Lydia Lyons, Barbara wireman, and Jenny Trujillo, all of Banning. Karen greatly looked forward to the birth of Chad and Jessica's baby. She will be deeply missed by her many nieces and nephews, cousins and friends she leaves behind. She was preceded in death by her grandparents, Harry Horseman, Sr. and Julia Ramon Horsman; uncles, Harry Horsman, Jr. Gordon Horsman and Frederick Horsman, all of Banning. Visitation, Wed. July 6, 2011, from 4-8pm with Services on Fri., July 8, 2011, 9a.m. both at Weifels & Son Chapel, 50 E. Nicolet St., Banning, CA, 92220. Burial immediately following service on Fri. at Morongo Reservation Catholic Cemetery.
