As children, we knew him as "Daddy Bim"...this gentle giant of a man. As adults, just simply Dad and we got to know him better, understand him better and even though he was a man of few words sometimes, he still never once hesitated to say "I love you". He always ended a phone call to us this way...not goodbye, but, "I love you." Maybe it wasn't a standard father/daughter relationship growing up but it worked, in his own way and our own way. Once we were old enough, there was and understanding, and appreciation and some great conversations. When we got together, the times were good and the laughs were plenty. Already we miss that big smile, and hearty laugh... Dad has left us all too soon, but this is what memories are made for. We remember a great man, with a big heart, with sincere love for us and our children, and his family. for all you have done for us Dad, thank you. We weren't ready to say goodbye just yet, so instead...."we love you..."
