Obituary of Sally Kyle

Sally Ann (Jansen) Kyle, 68, died at 8:15 A.M., Wednesday, July 19, 2006 at San Gorgonio Memorial Hospital in Banning, CA following a brief illness. She and her husband, Lewis, have lived in Banning for six years and were longtime residents of the Alton, IL area. She was born on Oct. 3, 1937 in Granite City, IL and was the daughter of Edward C. Jansen and the late C. Eileen "Billie" Jansen of Alton, IL. She graduated from Alton High School in 1955 and married her high school sweetheart, Lewis C. Kyle, on Nov. 5, 1955 at St. Patrick's Catholic Church in Alton. She was a loving wife, mother and grandmother for 51 years. In addition to her husband and father, she is survived by her children: Cindy Mitchell and her husband, Steve, of Costa Mesa, CA; Cathy Rochkes and her husband, Dennis, of Ramsey, IL; and Edward C. "Chris" Kyle of Banning, CA. She is also survived by four grandchildren, Dustin and Caitlin Rochkes of Ramsey, IL, Lauren Mitchell of Costa Mesa, CA and Adam Saunders of Pana, IL, and her brother, Edward Terrence Jansen and his wife, Sharon, of Alton, IL and their four children. A private family service and burial will be held Wednesday, July 26 at the Riverside National Cemetary in Riverside, CA. There will be no visitation. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the American Cancer Society or a memorial of one's choice.
